About the service:

Troubled Desire is an internet-based self-management tool for people who feel attracted to children and early adolescents. It contains modules, a self-assessment and general informations. Human sexuality is characterized by a wide variety of sexual preferences. Each individual has specific erotic particularities that are realized first as fantasies and sometimes later as urges that develop into behaviours. Sexual preference of any kind is predetermined and not chosen; nobody gets to decide his or her own sexual orientation. The online treatment approach of “Troubled Desire” is based on the expierence during more than 10 years of treatment in the prevention project Dunkelfeld in Berlin and gives a basic support for self management of sexual attraction to minors.
